How to add & edit an announcement bar.

Create eye-catching announcement banners to promote sales, shipping offers, or important updates across your store.

How to Access #

1. Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes
2. Click Customize on your Taddy theme
3. Select Announcement bar, then Add announcement

Announcement Content #

• Show announcement: Toggle bar visibility on/off
• Show on homepage only: Display banner only on main page
• Hide on homepage only: Show everywhere except homepage

Display Controls #

• Show container offset: Adjust banner positioning
• Animation type: Choose Slide or Fade transitions
• Enable autoplay: Automatically cycle through announcements
• Change slides timing: Set rotation speed (5-8 seconds)
• Enable navigation: Add manual controls for multiple banners

Localization Features #

• Country/region selector: Show location picker
• Language selector: Add language switching options
• Enable country flag: Display country flags
• Enable country name: Show country names

Additional Information #

• Information text: Add supplementary details
• Information link: Link to relevant pages
• Color scheme: Choose from available color themes

Icon Settings #

• Show icon: Add visual elements to your message
• Icon type: Choose from available icons (e.g., Truck for shipping)
• Icon width: Adjust icon size (default: 20px)

Multiple Announcements #

Add several announcement bars by clicking Add announcement again. Use different messages for:

• Seasonal promotions
• Shipping deadlines
• New product launches
• Store updates

Click Save to activate your announcement bar across the store.
